Supervision

I offer supervision to trained and trainee therapists, and have completed the full course of modules offered by Robin Shohet at CSTD in London.

I believe that supervision is a supportive, equal and respectful relationship that exists between two (or perhaps more) therapists in a safe and confidential environment.  It is not – as the name might suggest - “over-seeing”, but rather a collaboration of minds, experience, reflections and training. As is true of any working therapeutic interaction, both parties learn from the meeting, and thus I consider it a privilege to be in the position to offer my time in the role of a supervisor to my peers in the therapeutic world.

Sessions last for 1 or 1 ½ hours, depending on the requirements of the therapist, and are held at least once a month.
